Melissa Henry, MA, LPC, LCMHC, NCC
Owner & Licensed Therapist
Melissa is dually licensed in both Virginia (LPC) and North Carolina (LCMHC). She received her Master's Degree in Counseling from Regent University in VA. She specializes in treating challenges such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, relationship conflicts, women's issues, self-esteem, trauma, career adjustment/transition and much more... She helps clients discover their potential and learn skills and strategies to achieve their goals through empowering and providing a safe space for personal growth and healing.
Melissa's Approach
Melissa provides Christ-Centered Clinical Counseling with emphasis on healing, growth, and transformation. Her theoretical approach is integrative applying components of several major counseling and psychological theories. She most generally utilizes CBT and Person-Centered and is trauma-informed and clinically trained in EMDR (Level 1 and 2).
